During the new and full moon, it is the perfect time to create a deeper connection to ourselves through a practice or ritual. The new moon is a time to reflect, recalibrate and set intentions for a new chapter. And the full moon is a time of completion and to release of what no longer serves us.

Give yourself 20-30mins of quiet time where you can sit and reflect without distractions. If you have time beforehand, get into a relaxed state with a bath, a nourishing meal or whatever helps you to let go of the daily stresses.
Things you need for your moon ritual:

✨Things to create your sacred space eg: scented candles, incense or sage to burn or your favourite crystals (see below for some suggestions)
1. Create a sacred space. This is a little area for your rituals and spiritual practices that helps you connect to yourself.
2. Sit quietly and take some slow deep breaths to centre yourself.
3. Do a meditation practice of your own or if you prefer, apps like Insight Timer, Calm and Headspace have guided new moon and full moon meditations. This can help you clear your mind and connect to your inner knowing. You can also use journaling to get out whatever is on your mind.
For new moon rituals - with gratitude for all you have today, reflect on what your want to bring into your life for this upcoming month.
For full moon rituals - with compassion and forgiveness for yourself or others, reflect on what your want to release and what no longer serves you.
4. On a peice of paper, start with writing an affirmation then your intentions.
Affirmation for full moon intentions - "I bravely let go and allow the Universe to reveal its beautiful plan for me" and then write your intentions.
5. Sit with your intention and feel it in your body. After a few minutes gently open your eyes.
6. After your ritual, place your intentions somewhere special. Some people bury or burn their intentions to signify their wishes have already been fulfilled. I wear one of my mala bracelets during this ritual which acts as an anchor point to my intention during the month. 💖
